Just Landed: TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche Edition

In extension of their perfect partnership, TAG Heuer and Porsche reunite again to launch a brand new Connected Calibre E4 smartwatch with a striking frozen blue aesthetic inspired by the Taycan car. The TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche watch also impresses with advanced controls exclusive to Porsche owners, a new customisable display and a Porsche interior-inspired calfskin leather strap.

New Frozen Blue Case & Strap
The majority of the specifications for the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche Edition watch are the same as the core collection but on top, we’re welcomed to a couple of new characteristics, one of which is a new colourway inspired by the same frozen blue used in Porsche’s electric Taycan model. The shade highlights details on the black ceramic polished bezel including the number 100 at 12 o’clock and the Porsche logo parallel at 6 o’clock. The bezel also cleverly displays a scale going up to 400 reference the Porsche car’s speed.
The main components of the 45mm case are engineered from black titanium for a sophisticated and lightweight finish while the large, knurled crown and pushers are finished in black steel. The crown is surrounded by black rubber for a 100 metre water resistance and highlighted with the legendary TAG Heuer shield logo in frozen blue lacquer. Other elements of the case include flat sapphire crystal and a titanium case back engraved with the words ‘TAG Heuer x Porsche’. Lastly, the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche smartwatch delivers a new strap also debuting the frozen blue colour in the stitching. The rest of the band is engineered from carbon-like black calfskin leather and closes by a black DLC titanium folding clasp with double safety pushbuttons. Inside the box of the TAG Heuer Connected watch, you’ll also receive a spare black rubber strap which can be easily swapped around for a different look.
Exclusive Porsche Watch Face
Alongside the mass of exclusive TAG Heuer Connected watch faces already available on the premium Calibre E4 model, the new TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche Edition smartwatch delivers its own special display. Nicknamed the ‘Circuit’ watch face, the display takes inspiration from both racing circuits and electric circuitry, both of which nod to the electric Porsche Taycan and the TAG Heuer Connected watch. The animated visuals are fantastic and pair with three chronograph subsidiary dials which can be used to display information of your choice such as your step count, heart rate or information drawn directly from your Porsche vehicle.
Connectivity to your Porsche Car
Owners of the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche watch who also own one of the compatible Porsche models listed below will be able to connect their smartwatch to their car and see information presented directly on the watch display. There are currently four complications displayable. The first is the battery level of your all-electric Porsche model and plug-in hybrids. The second shows ‘car autonomy’ information such as how much distance you have remaining in your tank or battery. The third is a shortcut to the Wear OS My Porsche App which is required for controlling your vehicle heating and air conditioning. Lastly, wearers of the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E4 Porsche Edition smartwatch can also see the total mileage of the car.
To utilise these fantastic features, you will need to have Porsche ID, Porsche Connect subscription and the My Porsche app on the watch and phone. You will of course also need to own a Porsche vehicle from the following list: Panamera (G2 II models from 2022 onwards), Panamera (G2), 911 (992 models from 2022 onwards), 911, Cayenne (E3 models from 2022 onwards), Cayenne (E2 II), 718, Macan II/III, Macan and Taycan.
