We are incredibly excited to announce that Jura Watches is now an official retailer of Montblanc! This includes all their stunning collections of Montblanc watches, smartwatches, writing instruments, leather goods, belts, notepads, cufflinks, pens and augmented paper.
Named after the most majestic and highest peak in the Alps, Montblanc became a registered trademark in 1910 and have since become recognised around the globe for their masterful artistry and excellence in luxury design. It was in 1924 when they brand first became synonymous for their legendary writing instruments with the launch of the first Montblanc Meisterstück fountain pen, a collection that can still be shopped today, and it continues to be celebrated as the ultimate symbol for writing culture and a style icon for perfect timeless design. Only a couple of years later in their history, the brand then established their first Montblanc leather goods workshop in Offenbach, a town renowned for its extraordinary leather craftsmanship.
It was only a matter of time before their leather goods collection expanded to include the likes of Montblanc leather bags, belts, wallets and travel accessories like passport holders. Then in 1996, they successfully entered the men's jewellery field with the "Meisterstück Jewellery Collection" which showcases stunning accessories for men including Montblanc cufflinks and designer leather bracelets. A year later, Montblanc Montre S.A. was established in Le Locle, the heart of the Swiss watch industry, where they began to develop their very first range of luxury watches – a collection which everyone at Jura Watches is incredibly excited to finally share with you!
Having already established themselves of a brand with master craftsmanship and high quality design, it was no surprise that Montblanc watches attracted great attention and recognition among top international jewellers. The collections of Montblanc watches that you see today continue to astound collectors and connoisseurs alike with the Montblanc 1858 watch collection bringing to life the legendary professional Minerva watches from the 1920s and 1930s which were conceived for military use and exploration while the Montblanc Star Legacy range brings sophistication to a whole new level with finely detailed dials and luxurious straps suitable for both men and women.
Montblanc show no signs of slowing down, another one of many reasons we are so excited to become official retailers of the brand, as they continue to innovate and release new technologies and designs every year. Stepping into the future before most other luxury watch brands, Montblanc have recently unveiled their own range of Montblanc smartwatches, the Summit 2 smartwatch collection, which see’s them unite traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. More recently, Montblanc proved themselves as true innovators with the release of the world’s first Montblanc Augmented Paper. Bringing the beauty of handwriting to the digital world, this elegant technology allows you to transfer handwritten information digitally to apps and devices. It works by simply connecting Montblanc Augmented Paper to your smart device and you are free to write away with the StarWalker resin platinum ballpoint pen writing instrument. When the pages are full, you press the transfer button which will automatically send all your notes to your device!
