Introducing the new Junghans Form Damen Watches

The new Junghans Form Damen watches are quartz powered but feature an unusual mineral glass caseback printed with a deer motif on the inside. This King of the Forest reference is a nod to the heritage of the brand. The two new options include a blue dial with beige details and a brown leather strap or a black dial with pink details and a grey leather strap.
Junghans is one of the oldest German watchmakers still in operation today. That says plenty about its unique approach to developing timepieces that truly stand the test of time. The Form watch collection is home to a variety of simple and purist timepieces that many turn to when searching for a sophisticated companion to pair with smart, professional or elegant attire. The Form Damen watch collection, in particular, is distinguishable for its minimalist style and clean lines that blend values of precision and meticulous attention to detail together. This unique recipe has become the concise tailoring that Junghans turns to with each design from the Form watch series, offering a variety of styles and features to choose from.
The principles of the Junghans Form watch collection play with the concept of shape and depth. A concave doming of the dial in some models is fused with a convex case shape. Some iterations feature square-shaped hour markers embossed into the surface of the dial. Like all other Form watches, Form Damen timepieces focus on the essentials. The models from this sub-series are unadorned to create a sense of lightness. Some also have interchangeable straps that enable you as the wearer to switch-up the style of each timepiece to suit an occasion accordingly. Junghans Form watches, including those from the Damen series, are inspired by the urban zeitgeist with classic side views and geometric elements that create an interesting interplay.
Two new Junghans Form Damen watches
The new Form Dames watches, unlike their Form A sibling released simultaneously this year, are powered by a quartz movement. That said, they do still offer a mineral glass caseback. The reference 47/4255.00 is a blue and brown combination. A striking space blue-coloured dial is adorned with beige-coloured stick markers that are fine and delicate looking. This dial design is combined with a brown coloured leather strap. The reference 47/4256.00 features a black dial with pink hour markers and a grey-coloured leather band. Both dials feature the Junghans name applied vertically in beige or pink colour respectively and offer a date aperture at 3 o'clock. The central and minute hands for both the blue and black dial version of this new Junghans Form Damen watch are coated with a layer of environmentally friendly luminous material to assist with timekeeping in dark conditions. As with all Junghans watches from the Form series, the surface of the dial is protected from dust, debris, scratching, light, heat and moisture with a flat piece of sapphire crystal glass, integrated with anti-reflective properties.
These two new Junghans Form Damen watches measure a diameter of 34.1mm and a height of 7.0mm. Both are crafted from stainless steel and integrated with 50-meter water resistance. The blue dial version features a polished finish applied to the surface of its steel case, whilst the black dial version is PVD coated in black to give it a sleek and dynamic look on the wrist. The four-times screwed caseback of each timepiece also features a deer motif applied to the inside of the mineral glass. The “King of the Forest” with proud antlers is a reference to the company’s Black Forest heritage whilst each watch’s chalet-style leather band conveys a sense of high quality and high comfort. Both models are powered by a quartz movement and secure to the wrist with their respective stainless steel pin buckles – one polished and one black PVD coated.
