Monday - 01 May 2023
Amidst so many exciting new releases to have come from this year’s annual Geneva-based Luxury watch showcase at Watches & Wonders, Hamilton hits the sweet spot for Jazzmaster lovers with a slew of newness that goes under the name of the Hamilton Jazzmaster Performer. The new watches are offered in chronograph versions, as well as three-handed time-only versions and come in a range of dial colours and strap options. Whether you’re a fan of the Hamilton Jazzmaster or new to the entire range, you’re bound to fall in love with these new contemporary, urban-chic designs from the new Jazzmaster Performer collection. Let’s take a look at the new models and break down what the Swiss watchmaker is offering the eager wrists of devoted Jazzmaster fans.
What’s new for the Hamilton Jazzmaster?
If you’re a fan of minimalist dials, you’ll be pleased to hear that the three-handed iterations of the new Performer Automatic line are as simple as ever. Experts at the brand have decided to par the design back, offering the watch in a 38mm or 34mm option to appeal to both male and female fans. The watch is also available in two different finishes depending on the dial you opt for. You can either go classic with the stainless steel case option or more luxurious with the rose gold PVD-coated option. The Performer Chronograph version is also offered in both case finishes, yet these models all come on the same diameter of 42mm.
The new Hamilton Jazzmaster Performer Automatic 38 and 34mm watches
As mentioned, the three-handed time-only version of the new Jazzmaster Performer is offered in a 38mm version to appeal to gentlemen in need of a classic dress watch, as well as a smaller 34mm for female wrists. The larger option – the 38mm – is offered in a dark blue, black or white display. The blue and black both have nickelled hands and a fixed bezel with a 60-minute scale adorned to its surface – brushed steel for the dark blue version and black-filled for the black model. Another model crafted from stainless steel but with a rose gold PVD coating features a white dial with rose gold coloured stick hour markers and hands and a black bezel. The smaller 34mm options comprise a deep blue and light blue dial in steel with a fixed brushed steel bezel and a dark blue perforated leather band (for the dark blue model) or a stainless steel bracelet and folding clasp (for the light blue option). Then there is the classic black and steel model – a black dial with a black coloured bezel, a robust steel bracelet and nickelled hands to match. This reference is probably the most classic yet sporty of them all, constituting the perfect companion for every wardrobe. The last model of the three-handed Jazzmaster Performer Automatic is the mother-of-pearl dial with rose gold-coloured bezel and steel lugs and case. The watch is also finished on a beige satin strap and a traditional pin buckle. These watches are all powered by the Calibre H-10, which has been used quite affluently throughout the brand’s catalogue, providing an 80-hour power reserve and performing at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. This movement and the engine for the Jazzmaster Performer Chronograph are both fitted with a Nivachron balance spring that improves the overall performance of the movement.
The new Hamilton Jazzmaster Performer Chronograph watch, with its broader 42mm steel case, is more assertive and comes in masculine colours of deep blue, black and white. You can enjoy the black option on a black perforated leather band or a stainless steel bracelet. Both options bridge the gap between dressy and casual perfectly. The dark blue dial version is also casually elegant, wrapping around the wrist with a comfortable blue leather band and stainless steel folding clasp. The white version is the one that stands out from the pack yet again. Its rose gold PVD-coated stainless steel case is luxurious and refined and is equipped with a black tachymeter scale for measuring distance based on speed.
The new Hamilton Jazzmaster Performer Chronograph watches are powered by the Calibre H-31, which offers a 60-hour power reserve and provides 12-hour chronograph and 30-minute chronograph functions respectively at 6 and 3 o’clock. Without a doubt, the new Hamilton Jazzmaster Performer Chronograph and three-handed watches add something contemporary and sporty to the collection and can be purchased today at Jura Watches by visiting the new series online here, or by calling and speaking with a member of our sales team today on 01335 453453.
