Exploring the Gucci GG2570 Watch Collection

As one of the most valuable luxury brands in the entire world, it’s no surprise that the Italian Fashion House has found success in watchmaking as well as creating lifestyle accessories and designer clothing. established its reputation for extravagance and glamour with its opulent clothing lines and jewellery designs before sowing seeds in the horological world, forming a huge empire that now encompasses just about everything associated with luxury and opulence. The Italian company has celebrated 100 years of success not so long ago. Coinciding with this milestone, we recently decided to become an official stockist of Gucci watches here at Jura Watches.
The beginnings of Gucci the brand were formed when Guccio Gucci – the son of a leather craftsman – became inspired by luxury leather travel bags. He opened his own premium leather goods store in Florence in 1923 and since then the brand has been expanding and evolving into new and wonderful things. It is now one of the most famous names in the fashion industry and has, over the last few decades, turned its hand to watchmaking. Only recently, however, has Gucci seriously entered the watchmaking game with some newer and more technical models. Up to this point, its timepieces have been blossoming into more sophisticated and refined designs, with exceptionally beautifully models from the Gucci G-Timeless collection the Dive watch collection, and the GG2570 range, which we’re going to look at in more detail today.
Gucci watches are just as bold and daring as the manufacturer’s jewellery, leather and clothing ranges. To make it easier to understand, Gucci watches can be separated into three distinct categories comprising sports watches, classic watches and high fashion watches. Since the inception of Gucci’s very first wristwatches, keeping an accurate measure of time has always been associated with luxury and timelessness. The blue and black dial versions of these two men’s Gucci GG2570 watches offer a classic look for the male wrist. Both models measure 41mm in diameter and have been crafted from stainless steel. A 100-meter water-resistant case offers ample protection over a quartz movement fitted at the centre of each model, whilst the surface of both the blue and black dials have been protected with a lens of sapphire crystal glass, treated with anti-reflective technology. The hour track, represented in baton hour markers, grants quick and effortless timekeeping, plus the 6 o’clock location features a legible date window for keeping track of the passing days of each month. The sunray black and blue dials create the silhouette of the famous G-frame dial, surrounded by a fine-brushed circular bezel. Finished with a stainless steel bracelet forming links executed in brushed and polished finishes - these two men’s 41mm Gucci GG2570 watches are perfect for wearing in the office or pairing with elegant evening attire.

For the lady’s wrist, the silver and black sunray dials showcased in these two models act as a backdrop to a scintillating diamond-adorned hour track. Sparkling stones are situated at each hour location, adding a halo of light around the G-Frame dial. For ladies with a fast-paced lifestyle, the Gucci GG2570 watch offers everything needed for accurate timekeeping in one compact design. The stainless steel models measure a feminine-friendly diameter of 29mm. By night the central hour and minute hands glow with luminescent material underneath a glare-free sapphire crystal glass front, and a date window is situated at the south of the dial. Both watches are powered by a quartz movement and capture the quintessential Gucci style with a bold stainless steel bracelet that secures with a folding clasp.

Finished on Gucci’s signature green and red striped material strap, this Gucci GG2570 watch is sure to draw attention towards its unique colourway. A sunray black dia,l executed the classic way with baton indexes and gently tapering hands, creates a bold and powerful presence on the wrist, especially since it features the iconic green and red strap. This Gucci GG2570 watch features a date window at 6 o’clock, a robust stainless steel case integrated with 100-meter water resistance, and is powered by a reliable Swiss-made quartz movement. To finish, a steel pin buckle fastening, engraved with the Gucci name matches the Gucci-engraved crown at 3 o’clock on its case.
