Doxa SUB 200 T.GRAPH Limited Edition Watch Review

A legend returns. Half a century has gone by since the original was launched in 1969, which made history in the watchmaking industry. To celebrate this iconic model Doxa release the striking SUB 200 T.GRAPH Limited Edition with only 300 pieces available worldwide, which follows an extremely successful 18K gold version of just 13 pieces. Inspired by its late sixties predecessor, the new diving watch features many similarities bringing a retro feel to the wrist that is admired by many.

Striking in colour, the face of the watch follows the signature shade of the brand with its vibrant orange hue. The vivid dial has a semi-matte finish and is framed by the 43mm cushion shaped stainless steel case. Contrasting black and cream hands and baton shaped indices add to the vintage feel, as do the subdials with one featuring a hint of yellow also. The use of SuperLuminova allows for the dial to glow in dark environments such as the ocean floor.

Including all the features expected of a professional diving watch the unique dial is highly legible at a glance. Peer through the scratch resistant sapphire crystal to admire every detail, which has been treated with an anti-reflective coating to add to the readability deep beneath the waves. Surviving depths of 200 metres underwater, the SUB 200T.GRAPH Limited Edition is the perfect companion for all professional divers. Featuring the famous patented unidirectional rotating bezel with the dual indication of dive time in minutes and depth in metres allows for the diver to calculate the dive time safely without decompression stops.

For historical accuracy, the limited edition houses the historical 7734 VALJOUX movement from 30 years ago, which has been carefully preserved to guarantee reliability – a special touch that really pays tribute to Doxa’s heritage. Fasten the limited edition to your wrist with the famous DOXA “grains of rice” bracelet made from 316L steel. Purposely designed with ocean explorers in mind, the bracelet includes a folding clasp with diving extension to fit over your wetsuit sleeve.
