The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver watch has many desirable features. Its unambiguous indexes and bold hands make for an incredibly legible dial, together with minimal branding to keep the dial simple and to the point. A sunray brushed black dial has been enriched with horizontal grooves that run from the left to the right of the dial. The hour and minute hands have a character of their own; the hour hand of which is executed with an arrow tip and the minute hand of which has been framed in a vibrant orange to match the tones seen in the first 15 minutes of its rotating bezel. Joining this is an orange-coloured second hand that stands out easily against its rich black backdrop. Luminescent material applied to these hands and to the hour markers (represented in a mix of circular and baton shapes) assisting with timekeeping whether during the night or 1000 metres underwater. In these dark conditions, the hands look different once more.
