Corum introduced bold, bright limited editions at this years Baselworld. From majestic jokers to patriotic flags to a snooker ball the watch brand offers quirky, colourful designs that are sure to demand attention on the wrist; unique designs that will make an impact and a lasting impression in the watchmaking world.
There iconic bubble watch features dials that include playing cards spelling out the brand name on a poker table, a deathly skull, a ball of fire and a map of the world to mention a few. The bold watch designs effortlessly take on new personas depending on the inspiration offering a variety of unmissable designs. All have a tale to tell whether it’s daring to assert creative differences, taking vengeance after 16 years or surviving a shipwreck.
Some have been designed in collaboration with creatives to bring a unique, new edge to these timepieces. For example, the Corum Watch Bubble Magical 52 Matteo Ceccarini, features a piercing blue eye with an intense gaze and is designed in collaboration with DJ and composer Matteo Ceccarini. The meaning behind the oversized striking eye is the thought that the eyes are the mirror of the soul; a protective symbol and lucky charm.
The Voodoo Matt Barnes model features a photograph of a mysterious voodoo figure encounter taken by Matt Barnes himself. The case, dial and strap respond to this magical creature designing a dark and fascinating design.
Fastened with a rubber strap, the limited editions offer comfort and are available in a variety of colours including red, green and blue.
The distinctive designs are truly one of a kind with artistic, unusual illustrations that are rarely found on a watch dial. An exclusive piece that will always take centre stage! Many of the creative timepiece are free of numerals allowing for the oversized dial the chance to be truly creative; 52mm of canvas to unleash their imagination! Small black/white circles surround the hour and minute markers allowing for the wearer to tell the time.
