Following in the same footsteps as the 2021 Sinn U50 S Mother of Pearl S Black watch, Sinn now releases the new U1 S Mother of Pearl S model (the first “S” standing for schwartz meaning black in German and the second “S” relating to the particular type of mother of pearl this watch uses for its dial, also known as Tahitian mother of pearl). The model is limited to just 300 pieces worldwide and, as its name suggests, boasts a stunning pearl-adorned dial that catches the light majestically, putting on a show of shimmering lilac, pale blue and pink tones. The watch provides any devoted collector of the Sinn U1 watch with a new and luxurious method of telling the time. This natural product, married with a black-coated case, is a tried and tested pairing that has proved successful both as a daily beater and as a dive watch. The high-quality black hard coating applied to the submarine stainless steel case of this new Sinn U1 S Mother of Pearl S watch enhances its robustness and provides the watch with a more scratch resistant tool for wearing every day of the week.
The submarine steel case, known for its exceptional saltwater resistance and non-magnetic properties, features a crown at 4 o’clock to avoid snagging on clothing or digging into the back of the hand, along with a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective case top crafted from sapphire crystal glass that protects the dial from heat, moisture, light and dust damage.
