The unique name Woody leads to famous figures such as the quirky film director Woody Allen or the most loved cowboy in the animation Toy Story 1, 2 and 3. It is a title that is fondly remembered by their adoring fans and it seems that another Woody has joined the group. The new SevenFriday Off Series P2b/03-W has been christened by fans as the new Woody due to its brown hue injection caused by 7 individual layers of 3 different woods! It is unusual for a timepiece to be crafted with elements of the natural resource of wood with many typically opting for stainless steel, titanium or gold as the material of their choice. The wooden animation ring that surrounds the P2b/03-W box includes American walnut, beech and solid cherry timbers, which were cut, shaped, individually lacquered, layered and then bonded together by experts from Watschinger - an Italian luxury wood joiner who has 60 years experience. The craftsmanship that was used to form the 450 pieces limitation provides the instrument with an air of uniqueness, prestige and originality adored across the globe; a masterpiece that harmoniously marries exquisite beauty with skilful craftsmanship.
