Fortis F-43 Jumping Hour Watch Review
Monday - 15 April 2013
The Fortis F-43 Jumping Hour features a disc with a view window on its dial. As the disc turns once per hour, the aperture reveals the relevant hour digit on the underlying dial below.
Two model variations are available: the F-43 Jumping Hour Black, which has a black disc with a concentric circle design; and the F-43 Jumping Hour Transparent, with a skeletonised dial and a transparent disc. On both versions a central hand indicates the minutes.
The watch has a case diameter of 43 mm, and has a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. It is powered by F-2024 Swiss automatic movement, and comes with a stainless steel bracelet or black leather strap. It is water resistant to 200 metres.
