Tissot Watch Ambassador Danica Patrick Makes Sprint Cup History
Monday - 18 February 2013
Speaking of her emotions following the race, Patrick said: "Pride. I'm proud of all the hard work that goes into making a pole car." Danica Patrick is the most successful woman in the history of America open-wheel racing. Aside from her latest success, she is the only woman to have won a race in the IndyCar Series, and holds the highest finish by a woman at the Indianapolis 500.
Patrick has been a Tissot ambassador since 2005. She is regularly featured in the brand's promotional material, and a limited edition Tissot T-Race watch was released in her honour in 2012.
The T-Race collection is inspired by racing and Tissot's passion for motor sports. The T-Race Danica Patrick 2012 features a white dial with diamonds marking each hour, a stainless steel case, ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal. The watch is powered by quartz movement and comes with a silicon strap.
A number of Tissot T-Race watches are available now to buy now at Jura Watches.
