Rado Plasma-Treated Ceramic Watch Review
Wednesday - 13 February 2013
The patented plasma treatment gives the ceramic a metallic platinum sheen, without affecting its scratch-resistance, strength or hypoallergenic properties. Each one-piece ceramic case is exposed to gases at 20,000˚C, giving its a surface a platinum colour that will not fade over time.
The automatic chronographs are part of the Rado D-Star collection, and will be presented at Baselworld 2013 alongside a new black ceramic model. The new additions to the D-Star range are powered by the ETA A05.H31 calibre with an extended 60-hour power reserve, and come with a choice of black leather strap or stainless steel bracelet.
