Breitling Transocean Chronograph 38 Watch Review
Friday - 25 January 2013
The Breitling Transocean range "offers a resolutely contemporary stylistic interpretation of the aesthetic of 1950s and 1960s chronographs" and is described by the brand as "a new classic marrying prestige and distinction". The new timepiece for women has been designed with a 38 mm case diameter to suit smaller wrists, accentuated by a beveled bezel and slender lugs. The case is available in a choice of steel or 18K red gold, and comes with a leather strap or steel mesh bracelet.
The Breitling Transocean Chronograph 38 is powered by a self-winding chronograph movement, certified by the COSC. The dial is available in a choice of black, white or midnight blue, with applied hour markers and hollowed counters featuring a spiral motif. It has a convex sapphire crystal, glare proofed on both sides, and an 18k gold 'B' is placed on the dial. Two stylised planes, a symbol of Breitling, are engraved on the caseback.
