Bremont Watch Opens Headquarters in Henley on Thames

Bremont has opened its new British watchmaking facility in Henley on Thames, South Oxfordshire, as part of its long-term goal to move all production to the UK.

The brand is on a staged investment program to develop mechanical watch manufacturing expertise in the UK, and the oak framed building was custom built to provide an ideal facility for the manufacture of Bremont watches. Key movement and case components will now be assembled and finished in the new headquarters.

"Our intention has always been to bring as much watch manufacturing back to the UK as we can and we are at the start of an exciting period in the company's growth," Bremont co-founder Giles English said. "Britain has an illustrious history of watchmaking and considerable engineering talent for us to utilise, we intend to make the most of it. Naturally we are still very dependent on our wonderful Swiss engineering partners and staff who we continue to work with and thank them for their ongoing support."
