Raymond Weil BRIT Awards Freelancer Watch Review

Raymond Weil has created two limited edition timepieces for The BRIT Awards 2013, featuring a design by artist Damien Hirst on the case back.

The Swiss watchmaker has been Official Watch and Timing Partner of The BRIT Awards for six years, with the 2013 ceremony to be held on 20th February at London's O2 Arena. The special Raymond Weil Freelancer watches will be gifted to performers, presenters and VIP guests at the event.

The men's Limited Edition BRIT Awards 2013 Freelancer has a 42 mm stainless steel case, and a silver dial with rose gold hands and indexes. It is powered by automatic movement with 46-hour power reserve, and comes with a brown leather strap.

The women's version of the watch has a 38 mm stainless steel case, silver dial with rose gold hands and indexes, and Clous de Paris motif in the centre. It has a stainless steel bracelet and is powered by automatic movement with 38-hour power reserve.

Both models have an exhibition case back featuring the BRIT Awards 2013 logo and the trademark spot design of Damien Hirst, who has designed the 2013 BRIT Award trophy.

"We are delighted to continue our support of The BRIT Awards in association with MasterCard for the sixth year in succession," said Pierre Bernheim, Raymond Weil Director. "2012 has been an exceptional year for British music and Raymond Weil is proud to have supported the likes of Emeli Sande, Wretch 32, Tinie Tempah and Labrinth and will continue our support of emerging British talent in 2013. We hope everyone likes the new Limited Edition BRIT timepieces that we feel are reflective of the importance of our love of quality and support of such a prestigious event."
