FC Barcelona will star in a new, high-profile advertising campaign for Seiko.
The 30-second television ad will launch on December 1st, promoting the new Seiko Sportura collection in the run up to Christmas.
Seiko has been Official Watch Partner of FC Barcelona since 2011, with the team acting as ambassadors for the brand. The partnership was based on a belief that they shared the same core values: "Both are ambitious, both are proud of their long tradition of achievement and both are dedicated to perfection in their chosen art."
The new Seiko advertising campaign will feature on all digital television channels, with a focus on high-rating ITV shows. The ad will play 2,800 times, totalling around 24 hours of exposure.
Seiko will also promote its ladies watches with a new print campaign featuring brand ambassador Darya Klishina, a 21-year-old Russian long jumper. The ad will be placed in UK shopping centres, and in magazines including Harper's Bazaar and Vanity Fair. The campaign is expected to reach an audience of around 35 million.
