Monday - 06 August 2012
Michael Wong is Specialist Flight Lietuenant (Flying Stream) in the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps, and has appeared in over 50 films, including the lead role in 1998 movie 'Beast Cops' which won a Hong Kong Film Award.
Designed in collaboration with Wong, the new Bremont MW Heli-Chrono is based on the ALT1-P Chronograph range and is a limited edition of just 50 pieces.
The modified automatic chronometer (COSC) certified BE-54AE movement can be seen through a sapphire exhibition crystal on the case back. The unique black DLC Trip-Tick Bremont case has a hardness and scratch resistance of 2000 Vickers, and the sapphire crystal has nine layers of anti-reflective treatment on each side, reducing light reflections by up to 95%. The watch comes with a spare NATO style nylon and velcro strap and a watch strap changing tool, and is presented in a hand-made leather travel wallet made in England.
Selected buyers of the Bremont MW Heli-Chrono will be offered a helicopter flight over Hong Kong with Wong. "I felt it was important to add another dimension to ownership of this watch," he said. "Bremont is all about authenticity, with real and present roots in aviation. I want those people to experience that."
