G-Shock Watch Launches 30th Anniversary Awards

G-Shock has teamed up with Dazed & Confused magazine to launch the G-Shock 30th Anniversary Awards.
The awards will pay tribute to the best up-and-coming talent in the fields of fashion, art, music and sport, while celebrating the watch brand's 30-year milestone.
Shortlists for each category will be decided by Dazed & Confused, with four panels of industry experts judging the winners. The results will be announced at an awards ceremony in October, where each winner will be awarded ÂŁ3,000 worth of funding from Casio G-Shock to help them progress in their chosen field.
Each winner will become a G-Shock ambassador, joining a group selected for their success, recognition and determination in their respective industries.

The public may also submit nominations for a special Toughness Award - a prize for the emerging talent that, through extraordinary determination to overcome obstacles in their career, best exemplifies the G-Shock "Spirit of Toughness". The Toughness Award winner will receive a £5,000 prize.
