Tissot Watch Sponsors UCI BMX World Championships

Tissot sponsored the UCI BMX World Championships for the first time as part of its long term partnership with the Union Cycliste International (UCI).
The UCI BMX World Championships is the biggest annual event in the sport, featuring the world's best riders competing for the right to wear the coveted rainbow stripes for the next 12 months. This year's event, held in the Birmingham NIA from May 24th-27th, was also the last opportunity for nations to secure qualification points for the London 2012 Olympic games.
Tissot has worked with the UCI since 1995, integrating advanced technology into the UCI Road World Championships, UCI Track World Championships, UCI MTB and Trial World Championships, UCI Track World Cup Classics, UCI Mountain Bike World Cup and the Tour de Romandie. With the partnership set to continue until at least 2016, the UCI BMX World Championships is the latest event to benefit from Tissot's timekeeping, with the provision of statistics and information through spectator-friendly interfaces.
