Casio Watch Edifice Sponsors British Touring Car Driver Tom Onslow Cole

Casio Edifice has renewed its partnership with British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) driver Tom Onslow Cole.

The sponsorship is part of the 'Faces of Edifice' campaign, designed to recognise past, present and future professional race car drivers. The brand notes that the BTCC's precision engineering and unsurpassable technology perfectly fits with the "speed and intelligence" values of Casio Edifice watches.

Tom Onslow Cole's first competed in the BTCC in 2007, gaining a place on the podium in only his fifth race and winning his 20th. He is now regarded as one of the most exciting emerging talents in the sport, and is expected to make a big impact in the 2012 season. "I am really excited about being one of the Faces of Edifice," he says. "It's fantastic to be supported by a brand of Casio's calibre, particularly given their heritage in motorsport."

In 2010 Tom won a race by 0.009 seconds - the closest margin in BTCC history. "Time is everything in my profession, it's how I run my life, and it's the difference between winning and losing," he says. "My Edifice watch has the precision timing I need to measure and deliver the ultimate performance."
