Seiko Watches 130th Anniversary Review

Seiko is celebrating its 130th anniversary with a collection of commemorative timepieces.
The brand has pioneered many technologies since it was founded in 1881 inventing the groundbreaking quartz watch in 1969. Seiko boasts a number of other world firsts including the creation of the first automatic chronograph in 1969 the first Kinetic watch in 1988 and the first Spring Drive watch in 1999.
The Seiko commemorative collection was released in October recognising 130 years of innovation and creativity. It includes three iconic Grand Seiko timepieces from 1960 recreated with a new mechanical handwinding movement alongside new creations: the Ananta Automatic Chorongraph Divers watch and the Premier Kinetic Perpetual. The Seiko 5 Sports model is due to be added to the collection soon.
