Raymond Weil Parsifal Collection Watch Review
Wednesday - 15 February 2012
Designer watch brand Raymond Weil has added three new models to its Parsifal collection.
The watches have been launched to celebrate the range’s relaunch. Following 20 years of success with the Parsifal range, it is now being reinvented with the three new variations. The Parsifal collection of Raymond Weil watches is intended to be a homage to the Richard Wagner opera and to represent the noble and chivalrous values of the opera’s hero.
The new collection includes two men’s watches and one for ladies. One is a standalone gents’ watch, whilst the other two are a ladies’ and gents’ version of the same watch. Aside from the size, these two watches look exactly the same.
A spokesperson for Raymond Weil said: “Some will see in this parsifal pair a romantic allusion to another Wagner opera, 'The Tale of the Swan Knight'. Legend has it that once swans form a couple, their relationship will withstand the test of time.”
