Thursday - 06 August 2015
Tissot unveil the stunning Chemin de Tourelles collection taking the title from the location in which the vision was realised.
Chemin des Tourelles in a street which hosts the Tissot factory dating back to its conception in 1907 and proudly stands as the core of the watchmaking brand today. The collection is a tribute to the 160 years of expertise that have taken place in a factory that has witnessed the expansion and evolvement of the luxury brand. Tissot is extremely proud of their origins and wishes to honour their beginnings and history through a series of watches. In particular, the skeleton timepiece stands out as a magnificent celebration of the magnitude of years and a sign of Tissot’s true art and talent of watchmaking.
The rose gold casing beautifully compliments the large roman numerals that hover about the exquisite skeletonise movement. The exposure resembles a work out art as each intricate and complex piece is revealed to the naked eye. The beautiful finishings, shapes and subtle shades fuse together effortlessly creating a wonderful and unusual watch face. The dark grey chiseled hands stand out against the beautiful background for legibility. Peer through the non reflective coating of sapphire crystal glass and marvel at the stunning 6497-1 movement. The alligator brown strap finishes the timepiece effortlessly as an extension of the exquisite dial and rose gold matte lugs.
Jura Watches hosts an alternate colour combination that is just as elegant and beautiful with a stainless steel case, midnight blue roman numerals and hands and a black alligator strap.
