The Bremont AC II Watch Review

The Bremont AC II completes the America’s Cup Series duo, which again is inspired by the classic beauty of the iconic 1930’s J-Class yacht.
The bi-compact chronograph is heavily influenced by the polished Bremont ALTI-C. Mirroring the AC I, the blue steel hands contrasts vividly against the fine ivory white opaline dial with their elegant shape to echo the timeless beauty of the J-Class yachts. The AC II absorbs the history of the America’s Cup and stands as an iconic symbol of the revolutionary years gone by. The outline of the Auld Mug which is cleverly repeated to design a sophisticated motif is present within the boundaries of the two sub dials situated at 9 and 3 o’clock. The contrast in pattern and texture adds a unique dynamic depth to the dial. The pure white dial is framed in a stunning rose gold polished case for a luxurious and grand feel. A brown alligator strap enhances the striking beauty of the masterpiece providing a timeless and classic instrument that truly reflects the maritime influence and passion of the Bremont brothers.
Once again the London inscribing is witnessed at 6 o’clock to signify that the impeccably modified, chronometerrated, Valjoux 7750-SO BI AC movement is manufactured in the UK; an honourable aspect of the Bremont watch brand that is openly celebrated on the dial. The impressive movement is exposed through the exhibition case back to secure their reputation of fine watchmakers.
