Longines Watch Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Singapore
Friday - 09 January 2015
Singapore's 50th birthday is a major milestone in the nation's history, and Longines has paid tribute to the country's world-class infrastructure and success as an international centre for business and finance.
Limited to just 50 numbered pieces and available exclusively in Singapore, the GMT timepiece is part of the Longines Master Collection. This line of Longines watches is inspired by the rich watchmaking tradition of the brand's early years, reflecting the values of elegance and performance. This successful collection was first launched in 2005 and is known for its "genuine value [and] unmistakable character".
The commemorative special edition features the name 'Singapore' highlighted in red on its timezone ring, and a print on the case back. The watch is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement and has an 18 carat rose gold case, measuring 38.5 mm diameter.
