Two of each of the new Raymond Weil watches will be sold at auctions during 2014 to raise money for the artists' chosen charities.
Raymond Weil Freelancer Electro Music Special Edition Watch
The Freelancer Electro Music Special Edition was created in partnership with Labrinth, an English singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. Labrinth has had several Top 40 singles and collaborated with internationally-acclaimed artists including Emeli Sandé, Gary Barlow and Ed Sheeran.
The watch has a 42 mm stainless steel case with a satin finished rose gold PVD plated steel bezel and crown. It is powered by the RW4200 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. Labrinth's signature is found on the crystal case back, and his three-dimensional labyrinth pattern appears on a silver background on the inner dial. The dial also features a music equaliser motif.
Raymond Weil Freelancer Cello Music Special Edition Watch
The Freelancer Cello Music Special Edition was designed in collaboration with 2Cellos, a virtuoso Coration cello duo composed of Luka Šulic and Stjepan Hauser. The duo found fame after their cover of Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal' went viral on YouTube.
The timepiece has a 45 mm titanium case and features four strings of a cello wrapped around the grey dial. The red chronograph hand is shaped to resemble a cello bow. The day and date indicators represent the bridge on which the instrument's strings rest, and a scroll-like decoration is found around the seconds sub dial. The exhibition case back displays 2Cellos' signatures. The watch is powered by a mechanical movement with chronograph, day and date complications and a 46-hour power reserve.
Raymond Weil Maestro Guitar Music Special Edition Watch
The Maestro Guitar Music Special Edition was designed with Miloš Karadaglic, an award-winning classic guitarist and exclusive Deutsche Grammophon recording artist. He is widely regarded as the leading talent in classical Spanish guitar.
This Raymond Weil watch is part of the Maestro collection and is powered by a bespoke RW4200 mechanical automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. It has a 39.5 mm stainless steel case, and a rose gold plated aperture in the dial displays the cogs and intricacies of the Swiss made timepiece. The dial design is inspired by the rosette of a guitar, while a rose gold plated plectrum points at the 6 o'clock position. A string motif circles the dial, with rose gold indexes representing a guitar's frets.
The Raymond Weil Music Special Editions are available now.
