Maurice Lacroix has become the Official Watch Partner of the 2014 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series.
Now in its 6th season, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series is the most prestigious cliff diving competition in the world. Only the very best divers compete, with male athletes taking off from a 27-metre high platform and female divers from a height of 20 metres. A jury of experts award points for each dive, based on complexity, take off, position in the air and entry into the water. The 2014 World Series will consist of seven competitions and takes place over three continents.
"Maurice Lacroix is proud to associate itself with the prestigious Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series," said Marc Gläser, Managing Director of Maurice Lacroix. "A growing, aesthetic and spectacular sport that perfectly reflects our passion for timing, technique and extreme performance."
The Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Extreme with its Powerlite alloy case will be showcased at the events. "It is an extreme watch, perfectly suited for the extreme competitor, with a case twice as hard as, and three times lighter than, stainless steel," the brand says.
Three new ambassadors have also been welcomed to the Maurice Lacroix brand: Artem Silchenko, Orlando Duque and David Colturi, who will all compete in the 2014 World Series.
