The TAG Heuer Watch F1 Senna Chrono Review

The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Senna Chrono Limited Edition revives the partnership with Ayrton Senna - the legendary Brazilian racing car driver who is remembered for winning three Formula One world championships for McLaren. The relationship began in 1988 when Senna joined the McLaren Formula 1 team and since his death the Senna Foundation continues his legacy. The two special editions that proudly showcase his name exude the performance, speed and racing spirit of both the sport and the dedicated sportsman who led the McLaren team to victory in 1988, 1990 and 1991. 

The Senna ’S’ leaps from the anthracite grey dial, case back and bezel in a striking red hue; a colour that connotes speed intensity and the thrill of the adrenaline rushing sport. The tachymeter scale accommodates the legends name for clarity of the influence and to provide the instrument with Senna’s famous reputation. A more subtle and discreet reference to the sportsman is the return of the  iconic ‘Legend’ bracelet consisting of S-shaped links with improvements to cater for a contemporary audience and the highest level of comfort. Ayrton himself wore the bracelet style, which makes the inclusion even more poignant. 

The striking TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph Senna Edition boasts a 43mm diameter housing a quartz chronograph, which is able to measure to the nearest tenth of a second and operates a date function.
