Day 4 at Baselworld 2016
Sunday - 20 March 2016
Day 4 began with a visit to Graham, which revealed four spectacular limited editions. Two go by the name of the Vintage Chronofighter that is manufactured to a limitation of 15 pieces. An outstanding piece to join the collection. Two fierce contenders - who’s names are yet to be revealed - embrace a bold and strong aesthetic.
Alpina delivered an excellent performance with the Seastrong Diver and the Starter Special Edition Camouflage. Both revelations are strong competitors in the Baselworld 2016 race bringing a slick and masculine design to the wrist.
Next Frederique Constant unveiled at Baselworld that their new brand ambassador is the oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow. She was chosen due to her natural and classical beauty, which is echoed in the elegant timepiece from the new classics delight collection.
Junghans brings a vintage charm to the event with the superb Meister Driver Handaufzug designs. Both editions look exquisite on the wrist with the sophisticated design enhanced by the colour combination inspired by 1930s cars. Find out more here.
It was time to visit the Raymond Weil stand and admire the Beatles Limited Edition watch in all its glory. The team were eager to try the special edition on and experience the 40th anniversary model on the wrist. For a detailed account of the watch click here. Another exquisite piece that has contributed to Raymond Weil's celebrations is the Special Edition Freelancer.
A shot of the stunning Grand Seiko Spring Drive Caliber 9R01 with the diamond dust dial and the exquisite Maurice Lacroix Squellette Blue finished the day perfectly!!
What will day 5 bring? We will have to patiently wait and see…………
