Timepieces for pilots need to be exceptionally readable in order to compete against all other instruments in the cockpit. The Ball Engineer Master II Aviator GMT timepiece has managed to achieve this goal – dial elements are illuminated through the use of four standard and 12 double-sized self-powered micro gas tubes that glow 100 times brighter than luminous paint. The watch is equipped with Swiss-made ETA 2893-2 automatic calibre. A separate red hand indicates the second time zone. Additional functionalities include a date display at the 3 o'clock mark, screwed-in crown and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating. The watch is protected from shock, magnetic influences and water penetration.
