Bremont has revealed the ALT1-C Rose Gold classic chronograph, a timepiece inspired by the limited edition Bremont Victory watch.
The ALT1-C Rose Gold is the first non-limited edition 43 mm gold watch to form part of its core collection. However, it will only be made in very limited numbers each year, with less than 65 pieces to be produced in 2013.
"Although we are renowned for producing aviation chronometers that are designed to withstand harsher environments, Nick and I also have a love of classically elegant timepieces, as we have demonstrated with our recent Limited Edition watches," said Bremont co-founder Giles English. "Seeing a rising demand from our customers for a sophisticated yet robust, classic, gold chronograph, we decided the time was right to add this stunning watch to the core collection. The characteristics are reminiscent of traditional British watch making."
Nick English adds: "The ALT1-C Rose Gold is a beautiful addition to the ALT1-C collection. We were extremely proud with the end result of the Victory Limited Edition and we wanted to preserve some of the attributes that inspired this. Our classic collection has proved so popular over the years due to the timeless style of design. It was very important that we retained that with the ALT1-C Rose Gold, whilst injecting a sense of elegance that is seen in British dress watches of the early 1900s, we believe we have succeeded in that."
The ALT1-C Rose Gold is COSC certified, and has an 18 carat rose gold case with Trip-Tick construction and a scratch-resistant PVD treated case barrel. The case back is also in 18 carat rose gold, with an integrated flat crystal. It is powered by the calibre 13 1/4” BE-50AE automatic movement with 42 hour power reserve, and has a Bremont moulded and decorated rotor.
The watch has a domed, anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and an etched metal dial with treated steel hands. It comes with an embossed leather strap, with an 18 carat rose gold pin buckle.
The ALT1-C Rose Gold will be manufactured in Bremont's watchmaking facility in Henley-On-Thames, England, and will launch in November 2013 for £13,950. Pre-order now.
