Breitling Limited Edition Superocean 42 Watch Review

Breitling has launched a limited edition Superocean 42, with a 'total blue-look'.

The new diver's watch is described as a "youthful, sporty and modern take on the Superocean 42", with its ratcheted unidirectional rotating bezel clad in blue rubber, matching the shade on the dial and rubber strap. The blue design is inspired by Summer, the sea and the sky, and pays tribute to its "aquatic vocation". It is limited to 2,000 pieces.
"While the new Superocean 42 looks set to be a summertime star on the beach, on the town and in the ocean depths, it nonetheless boasts all the characteristics of a true Breitling instrument for professionals, including peerless functionality and readability," the brand says.

The blue Superocean 42 has a 42 mm polished stainless steel case, with satin-brushed numbers on the bezel, and is water resistant to 1,500 metres. The watch has a cambered sapphire crystal with glare-proofing on both sides, and has luminescent hands and hour-markers. It is equipped with a self-winding movement chronometer-certified by the COSC.
