Oris ProDiver Pointer Moon Watch Review

Oris has launched the ProDiver Pointer Moon - the world's first mechanical watch to indicate both the lunar cycle and the tidal range.

The ProDiver Pointer Moon was inspired by Oris brand ambassador Roman Frischknecht, an experienced commercial diver. The timepiece was designed to meet the demands of the world of professional diving by indicating the tidal range through a unique dial design.
The timepiece also incorporates the patented Rotation Safety System, a rotating bezel that allows the wearer to keep track of a certain time period, with a lock that prevents accidental adjustment.

The Oris ProDiver Pointer Moon has a 49 mm titanium case that is water resistant to 1,000 metres. A meters-feet scale is engraved on the screwed case back. It has an automatic helium escape valve, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal that is domed on both sides. The watch is powered by automatic mechanical movement Oris Calibre 761, and comes with a rubber strap and metal bracelet.

The ProDiver Pointer Moon is available in both the northern and southern hemisphere tide range indication.
