Andy Murray Stars in Rado Watch Commercial

Rado has launched a new TV commercial for its HyperChrome collection, featuring tennis star Andy Murray.

The 30-second film shows Murray on his way to tennis training in Miami. He tests the scratch-resistance of his Rado HyperChrome watch while performing activities such as pull-ups, boxing and skipping during his unusual journey to the tennis court.

Andy Murray is Britain's number one tennis player and is currently ranked third in the world. He is the reigning Olympic men's singles Champion and current US Open Champion, and has been a Rado brand ambassador since June 2012.
"Andy Murray always stands out from the crowd with his distinctive playing style and unrivalled tactical intelligence," says Matthias Breschan, Rado CEO. "Rado admires his true talent and perfectionism – and at the same time can identify totally with his 'racquet rebel' side."

Rado pioneered an innovative technology for the HyperChrome collection, using sophisticated injection moulding that allows the entire case to be created in one piece of high-tech ceramic. Unlike other one-piece cases, the lugs and surrounding brackets are fully integrated. "Like Andy Murray, Rado has celebrated numerous breakthroughs and world records, from the first scratch-resistant watch to the hardest timepiece," the brand says. "Andy Murray perfectly embodies this pioneering strength."
