Tissot MotoGP 2012 Limited Editions Watch Review
Monday - 02 April 2012
The Tissot T-Race Nicky Hayden Limited Edition 2012 is the latest timepiece dedicated to its brand ambassador. Motorcycle racer Nicky Hayden, nicknamed 'The Kentucky Kid', has been with Tissot for many years and has had a number of popular watches created in tribute to him.
The 2012 model features Hayden's team colours on a two-tone ultra-resistant silicone bracelet. His emblem, inspired by a 'lucky star', is displayed on the dial, and his race number 69 is engraved on the case back. The design was created with "energy, ambition and aerodynamics" in mind, and shows many influences from the world of racing: the bezel is inspired by a brake disc, and the strap shows elements of bike suspensions and tyre tread.
The T-Race Nicky Hayden 2012 will be a limited edition of 4,999 pieces and is displayed in a helmet case. It will be available soon at Jura Watches.
The automatic model features revolutionary C01.211 chronograph movement and is limited to 2012 pieces, in reference to the year. The quartz watch is a limited edition of 8,888. Both are presented in a checkered flag collector's box.
