Luminox Watch Announces Partnership with SXC Spaceships

Luminox will announce its partnership with commercial space liner SXC at Baselworld 2012.
The brand has supplied watches to special forces worldwide, including police and rescue teams, the US Navy SEALs and US Air Force Stealth Pilots. Barry Cohen, Luminox founder, spoke of the brand's excitement at this latest collaboration: "We are extremely proud to become a part of this special project. Currently our product line is broken into three segments - Sea, Air and Land, but with this partnership, we will be introducing the fourth dimension - Space, early next year."
The astronauts and passengers of the SXC Spaceships will each wear a Luminox timepiece; part of a new collection developed to withstand the G-Forces and weightlessness.
Michiel Mol, one of the founders of Space Expedition Curacao, said: "The technical knowledge of Luminox, combined with their ambition and spirit of adventure, proved them to be the perfect partner for us."
