Bremont's ripping yarn
Nick English is at the controls, wearing a battered flying jacket. His
curly ginger hair rises almost vertically between his headphones as he carefully
explains the antiquated control panel with the knowledge of someone who has been
flying since a teenager. On his wrist is a handsome, generously proportioned
pilot’s chronograph with a clean black dial – the first from Nick and brother
Giles’ fledgling British brand, Bremont. “There are two things my brother and I
know about: ’planes and watches. So it was destiny that we were going to bring
the two together.” How it eventually happened carries more than a whiff of
Biggles, too. Chocks away!
