Bremont EP120 Spitfire Watch

With the two annual watch fairs in Switzerland now over, there is some time to reflect on all the new watches launched and we have decided that one of the most exciting and one that we have been getting a lot of enquries for is Bremont's new limited edition. This is something a little special, in fact, very special! Some of the components on the watch are made from the metal of an actual Spitfire plane which flew in WWII and shot down 7 enemy planes. That plane is called the EP120, a MKV Spitfire built in 1942. The watch is due for delivery in Sept/Oct and we have already taken quite few deposits in the first week! Limited Edition Porsche Design Flat Six P'6341

Limited to 935 pieces, this automatic chronograph is completely black and has a unique design. The watch is an homage to the legendary first chronograph that was entirely black and was designed by F.A. Porsche 35 years ago. Case made of PVD-coated titanium. Dial with day and date display. The transparent caseback made of scratch-resistant sapphire glass allows a clear view of the mechanical automatic movement and the Porsche Design rotor in the form of a Porsche sports car rim. Girard-Perregaux will launch at Basel this year the stainless steel Sea Hawk Pro 1000 metres, as shown above. They already have the SeaHawk with a 3,000 meter water resistance but due to high demand have created this variation. Pre-Orders taken now.

Bell & Ross launch new Limited Editions

At Basel in April this year Bell & Ross will show off their new BR 01 limited editions, one with a yellow dial and one with a red dial. These highly desirable watches are always in short supply due to the small production for each model, Jura will be hoping to secure 1 watch per model for its customers. Also available in red and yellew dial will the same watch with chronograph.

Also new for this year will be a release of the blue dial and phantom dial in the smaller BR03 case size, again limited edition.

Perrelet New Diamond Flower Watch

Due to be launched at this year Basel watch show in April, this stunning ladies watch will surley be in high demand.  The Flowers on the dial, which feature diamonds is actually the rotor which powers the watch movement, spinning around the watch is worn. The evening was a huge success with both public and press getting to see the watches up close while enjoying a glass of champagne! We are proud to be stockist for this exciting range of watches by Anonimo. Our favourite pieces are the Polluce or the San Marco watch. They have some very interesting case finishes including OX-PRO, bronze and even more impressive are the "Kodiak" leather straps, which means they can be worn in the pool and the sea.

Anonimo was founded in Florence, Italy in 1997 by respected designer and entrepreneur Federico Massacesi. Panerai moved away from Florence, thus leaving an elite and established team of veteran watchmakers wishing to continue their watch making tradition in Florence.

BALL watches arrive

Jura is proud to announce is it now an official dealer of Ball Standard Watches and our stock arrives later this week. This brand is not that well known in the UK, but I suspect that will change quite dramaticly in the future. They are great value for money and offer something a little different. They are probably most famous for their super bright micro gas powered dials, making night reading a breeze, the gas lasts an amazing 25 years, when it can be topped up again for another 25! The brand came about in the USA in the late 1800's when, after a major train crash due to bad timekeeping,  Webster Clay Ball was appointed to make all the railroads highly accurate, he created his own very high standard for timekeeping with the watches being produced in Switzerland. Oris launch new Williams Limited Edition

To commemorate 30 years of Williams F1 Oris, as the watch partner of the Formula One team, is launching the jubilee edition TT3 Formula Gold. The Oris TT3 Formula Gold Limited Edition has a black leather strap and the case is Rose gold, limted to 300 pieces worldwide, it has the Williams logo engraved on the back along with its unique number.

In those 30 years Williams have  had 486 Grand Prix, 113 victories, 16 world championship titles, so well worth celebrating!

Bell & Ross Watches On Fire

At the Scottish international fire training center a fire instructor tests its BR01-96 to its limits during a flame bending exercise.
Now we knew these watches were tough, but this is taking testing to the extreme. You would have thought this was some elabrate PR stunt by the brand, but in fact this was a normal Bell & Ross customer!
