In celebration of the German watch manufacturer’s 60th anniversary, Sinn have introduced a 600-piece limited edition Sinn 144 St S Anniversary II watch embracing many of the same design cues found in the original 1974 model. It’s familiar 41mm tonneau-shaped case maintains the same clean, utilitarian look as the original with a bead-blasted finish and modern Black Hard Coating developed using Sinn’s famous TEGIMENT technology which enables the exterior to be especially resistant to knocks and scratches. The case also enables Sinn’s Ar-Dehumidifying technology which promises greater functional reliability and freedom from fogging, working perfectly alongside the screw down crown and screw in sapphire crystal case back competent of a 200 metre water resistance.

The Sinn 144 St S Anniversary Limited Edition watch also recalls the original 1974 model through the dial and its sporty sloping tachymeter and pulsometer ring. In a bi-compax layout, the Concepto C99001 self-winding mechanism delivers central hands for hours, minutes and chronograph seconds, small continuous seconds and two chronograph counters highlighted in a classic reverse panda colourway. The 30 minutes counter and 12 hours counter are detailed with vibrant red accents to pair with the red chronograph seconds hand which alongside the luminous hour and minute hands ensure optimal legibility. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the Concepto C99001 is put on display to show off perlage decoration across the bridges, a striped rotor and blued screws. To complete its faithful aesthetic, the Sinn 144 St S Anniversary II watch is presented on a H-link bracelet coated in Black Hard Coating and in the box comes with an additional black rubber strap.
