For 2017, Oris has been working alongside the Movember Foundation and together they have released this hair-raising, beautifully designed Oris Sixty Five Movember Edition watch. Since it was founded in 2003, the Movember Foundation has been encouraging men to grow their facial hair throughout the month of November to raise money and support over 1,200 health projects worldwide. Their mission is to help men live happier and healthier while raising awareness and funds for causes like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
This Oris Movember Edition watch boasts a 40mm multi-piece stainless steel case with a minutes scale top ring and sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on the inside. The distinctive vintage inspired dial and retro shaped markers coated in Superluminova not only shout back to the 1960’s but give the dial a clear and easy to read appeal. The retro finish does not take away from the contemporary Oris 773 automatic movement within. The incredible automatic mechanism equips the Oris Sixty Five Movember Edition watch with centre hands for hours, minutes and seconds, a date window at 3 o clock and a power reserve of 38 hours.
