The material is the hallmark of the manufacturer’s “Mojave Desert editions and is inspired by both the flight suits of Navy pilots and the barren landscape of China Lake, the US Navy’s largest land area in the Mojave Desert. The four sub dials are beautifully proportioned on a subdued dark brown dial. They reside at 12 o’clock for the moon phase feature, 3 o’clock with a combined date and power reserve indicator, 6 o’clock with a month counter and 9 o’clock with a combined small seconds and days of the week counter. In between the latter two sub dials is the month aperture.
