Founded in 1883, Alpina, famous for its signature red triangle, is a fine watchmaking manufacture based in Geneva, Switzerland with a history spanning more than 135 years.
A true pioneer of the Swiss watchmaking industry, Alpina has been the source of numerous patents and innovative calibres. Alpina invented the concept of the Swiss sports watch as we know it today, with the creation of its legendary Alpina 4 in 1938.

Founded in 1883, Alpina was present during aviation’s pioneering days, and was amongst the first brands to develop pilot watches in the 1920’s. At that time, Alpina was the official supplier of military aviation watches to air forces on the continent. The Startimer collection stays faithful to the spirit of its predecessors, offering easy-to-wear timepieces inspired by the watches created by the Brand at the beginning of the last century.
