TAG Heuer Watches Presented to Chicago Marathon Winners

TAG Heuer was the Official Timekeeper of the 2014 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. The luxury watch brand presented iconic TAG Heuer watches to the male and female winners in the elite runner and wheelchair fields.

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon took place on October 12th and involved 45,000 participants. The iconic race includes a world-class elite runner and wheelchair athlete field, and the winners were given TAG Heuer watches to celebrate their success. An estimated 1.7 million spectators watched the marathon.

TAG Heuer's partnership with the marathon forms part of the brand's global 'Don't Crack Under Pressure' campaign, which celebrates the achievements of people who challenge themselves to reach goals they thought were impossible.

Ulrich Wohn, TAG Heuer North America President and CEO, said: "The Bank of America Chicago Marathon perfectly embodies the TAG Heuer mindset of mental fortitude, perseverance and inner strength. Running 26.2 miles requires resilience and willpower and TAG Heuer is thrilled to celebrate those personal achievements with these ambitious individuals."

"TAG Heuer is an iconic brand recognised for their longstanding history in sports and innovation and one that aligns perfectly with the Bank of America Chicago Marathon," said Executive Race Director Carey Pinkowski. "We are thrilled to partner with them to celebrate the individual achievements of these runners who have dedicated months to training for this iconic race."
