Since the 1960’s, when the first IWC divers watch was launched, the IWC Aquatimer collection has been a reliable companion for the masses, be it underwater or on land. This IWC Aquatimer Chronograph is no exception, offering a wide range of features essential for diving as well as a high-performance chronograph complication powered by one of IWC’s own manufacture movements. Named the 79320 automatic winding calibre, the Swiss made movement delivers central hands for the hours, minutes and chronograph seconds, three subsidiary dials for the small seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours counters and a day and date window at 3 o’clock. Despite powering a mass of complications, the movement still boasts a power reserve of 44 hours.

Displaying the chronograph features is a nautical blue sunray dial set with large Superluminova hands and orange accents for easy legibility. The IWC Aquatimer Chronograph watch also presents an internal rotating bezel in blue, decorated in a 60 minute scale and equipped with the brand’s coveted SafeDive technology which ensures the bezel can only be rotated one direction and thus ensuring the safe measuring of dive times. The men’s diving chronograph continues to impress with a durable stainless steel case measuring to 44mm in size fitted with a sporty blue rubber strap engineered with IWC’s quick change strap system. The case also achieves a 300 metre water resistance thanks to a screw in crown, screw down case back and convex sapphire crystal glass.
