The dial of the watch serves as a module plate for holding the jewels, bridges, screws and wheels together and its elaborate 42 piece construction features an upper level comprising of a screwed on skeletonised wheel train and a funnel like hour display located at 12 o’clock. The 44mm Open Gear ReSec Black Ice Limited Edition watch also features central minutes and a retrograde second display. The Trigono shaped hands are treated in Super LumiNova for enhanced visibility in the dark. Inspired by heavy metal and frozen lakes, the Open Gear ReSec Black Ice watch is a balance of unusual materials, tones and textures, whilst inside its 100 meter water resistant case is a perfect example of the highest mechanical manufacturing techniques.
