This year, Breitling and Bentley enter a new exciting chapter with the release of the Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Bentley watch.
Breitling first began their journey with the British luxury car manufacturer fifteen years ago by designing the onboard clock for Bentley’s flagship model, the Continental GT. Usually, the designs created under the Breitling for Bentley name exist in a stand alone collection. However, the prestige watch brand have announced that from now on the Bentley editions will sit in their core product offering – the first being the Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Bentley British Racing Green.
The distinctive British racing green dial brings a sense of style and elegance to the chronograph enhanced by the contrasting black subdials positioned at 3 and 9 o’clock. Framed in a stainless steel case, the new design is powered by Breitling’s flagship Manufacture Calibre 01. Peer through the transparent caseback with a metalised Bentley logo to view the in-house mechanical movement. Inspired by the dashboard of the historic supercharged 1929 “Blower” Bentley, the case features an engraved plate with a ‘Bentley’ inscription. Choose from a matching leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet depending on your personal preference.
The luxury motorcar brand is embedded in Breitling’s history. Willy Breitling, the grandson of the founder, was a devoted fan regularly spotted on the roads between Geneva and La Chaux-de-Fonds behind the wheel of one of his Bentley’s. Therefore, the fascination with extraordinary road cars with fine craftsmanship, cutting edge technology and innovative thinking is built into Breitling’s DNA. Bentley cars are built using techniques and skills passed down through generations - another similarity of the two brands.
