Longines Watch Ambassador Simon Baker Joins Hollywood Walk of Fame

Award-winning actor and Longines ambassador Simon Baker has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He wore a HydroConquest watch for the presentation.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce awarded the Australian actor the 2,490th star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, celebrating his successful career as an actor.

Simon Baker was named as a Longines Ambassador of Elegance in 2012, as the Swiss watch company felt he "personifies the core values of Longines and perfectly exemplifies the brand's slogan 'Elegance is an attitude'". He has starred in a series of Longines advertising campaigns.
Baker wore a Longines HydroConquest chronograph for the presentation of his star. The watch has a stainless steel case measuring 41 mm, a unidirectional rotating bezel, and a screw-in crown. It is powered by calibre L667 self-winding mechanical movement, and has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the underside. The HydroConquest has a sunday blue dial, with applied Arabic numerals and indexes coated with SuperLumiNova, and comes with a stainless steel bracelet.
