Jaeger-LeCoultre will host its watchmaking Master Class at SalonQP 2012, giving guests an opportunity to assemble and dissemble its Master Chronograph movement Calibre 751/1.
The Master Class will be held between 8th-10th November at the Saatchi Gallery, during the UK's only fine watch exhibition. For the second consecutive year, Jaeger-LeCoultre's most experienced watchmaker in the UK will help guests to learn more about mechanical watches and unique timepieces.
"From the smallest pinion to the largest barrel, learn to assemble the main spring, responsible for powering the train wheels, right down to the escapement or 'heart' of the watch which regulates the energy to the balance," the brand says. "Each guest can experience the exceptional opportunity to test their dexterity and understanding of the workings of a real watch."
A special one-hour Gem Setting Master Class will also be held at the event, where visitors can gain an insight into the world of jewellery timepieces and create their own gem set charm.
