Breitling Superocean Chronograph M2000 Blacksteel Limited Edition Watch Review .

Breitling has taken the concept of the diver watch to new levels (literally) with the launch of the Superocean Chronograph M2000 Blacksteel Limited Edition.

Chronograph diver watches populate the market yet very few reach 2000 metres (6600ft) and remain fully functional! Yet Breitling has created a masterpiece belonging to the Superocean collection that resists water whilst successfully activating the patented magnetic pushpiece. The exclusive system allows for the chronograph controls to work via the metal of the case resulting in a water-resistant fully operational instrument; reassurance that no water will enter the mechanism whilst performing a dive of this depth.

The robust nature of the Breitling masterpiece is confirmed by the 4 mm-thick sapphire crystal providing a strong and sturdy timepiece. Ensuring that the glass is glareproof for when the divers are in action is another functional and considered aspect of the Blacksteel. The powerful aesthetic is enhanced by the black dial, which features accents of red and green for vision whilst diving to extreme levels. The timepiece is powered by the calibre 73, which has a Thermocompensated SuperQuartz self winding movement. The large dial size measuring in at 46mm features a unidirectional rotating, ratcheted bezel resulting in an impressive, dynamic appearance. The stunning black leather strap with coordinating top stitching completes the striking watch perfectly in its 250 piece entirety.

The Breitling Limited Edition piece transforms into a work of art being crowned the Champion of Abyssal Depths. The luxury brand have set a benchmark for rivals to follow in awe of their genius innovation in technicality and design.
